JOB DESCRIPTION

Candidate will  setup and operate Thermal vacuum chambers for testing of space flight hardware. Testing support is needed 24/7. Candidate will work rotating shifts to support the operation of the test equipment. Perform maintenance, repair and calibration on all equipment associated with environmentally testing hardware. Will be required to use computers to record and present data in various formats. Must following procedures and drawings to perform tasks assigned. Will also handle spaceflight hardware and the support equipment required to integrate and test flight hardware.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree in a Mechanical or Electrical field or a High School diploma with 2 years of related experience. Past experience with environmental testing a plus.  Must be able to work rotating shifts and weekends to cover 24 hr operation. Either 8 or 12 hr shifts as required. Candidate must have computer experience, well organized and the ability to deal with a flexible schedule.
