Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.

Education and Experience

The successful candidate will have experience and proficiency in the layout, build, test, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems. Under moderate supervision, the Sr. Electronic Technician shall apply principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, electronic and electrical testing to the assembly of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), assembly of circuit boards, and the fabrication of aerospace quality harnesses and cables.

Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or General Education Degree and 10 or more years of related experience is required.
  • The ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronics units and harnessing.
  • Experience with mechanical fabrication, basic machining skills, and hardware assembly are a plus.
  • Completion of a Technical School or IPC/J-STD certifications are a plus
