Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.
Based on goal-oriented objectives, develop, create and modify computer applications software. Analyze user needs and design or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Provides technical leadership to on a multi-functional team.
- Perform routine system and subsystem definition, preliminary design, design implementation and subsystem and system integration and test. Support program management office in technical role. Evaluate corrections in technical applications and analysis.
- Advise and interacts with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines.
- Act as technical lead for pre-proposal, proposal and existing program efforts. Brief customer on company capabilities as part of business development activities. Represent the company as the primary customer contact on contracts or projects. Provide technical consultation to other departments and organizations.
Education and Experience
**Top Secret Security Clearance required with valid background investigation**
Requires BS in Engineering & 15 years or Masters in Engineering & 10 years or PhD in Engineering & 7 years.
