Northrop Grumman Space Systems Groups has an opening for a Manager, Standards and Compliance (S&C) in Dulles, VA
Manages Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) for Space Systems Group (SSG) Dulles and Gilbert campuses. Establishes and maintains S&C department goals and objectives. Collects and reports metrics on the QMS and EHS program. Reports progress to higher level management on a regular basis. Plans, executes, develops, and maintains the QMS and EHS programs to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and manuals. Ensures the quality of all products, delivered by the department, conform to established standards, specifications, regulations, company and regulatory guidelines. Responsible for managing and supporting the development of the QMS and EHS team across two geographically separated locations. This manager oversees the facilitation of the corrective action board system across operation’s functional organizations and personally facilitates the Group’s Executive Steering Committee. The incumbent currently spearheads the implementation of QMS tailoring for programs execution.
Additional duties include close support to the Senior Director, Safety and Mission Assurance to administer directorate management coordination and budgeting.
Education & Experience Required
BS in Engineering or a related field with 15 years of related experience
