Job Summary

This position is on a small software team that performs software model and hardware interface development for a variety of spacecraft components.  The models include a variety of spacecraft sensor, actuator, dynamics, and environmental models; specific hardware interfaces include 1553, RS422, Spacewire, Digital, and Analog interfaces. 

 

Requirements:


The candidate should have some experience in spacecraft simulation or developing software which executes in a real-time environment.

The candidate should have some experience in at least one of the following: embedded real-time software development, Guidance, Navigation, & Control (GNC), or developing spacecraft simulators.

Desired Skills:

Familiar with common software development processes and with the following software programming languages: Ada, C/C++, MATLAB, Simulink, and/or Python.

Education & Experience:

B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math or Physics & 2 years or Master’s Degree
