Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.

Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems is currently recruiting an RF Microwave Designer at our Dayton, OH location.

Northrop Grumman is seeking talented RF designers for antenna and radome aerospace applications. This position requires individual and team focused research, design, analysis, prototyping, test validation, and manufacturing support. Design and Analysis will include industry standard software packages, along with proprietary software tools. Regular guidance from senior engineering and communication with Integrated Product Team (IPT) members is expected to be successful. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain (Requires US Citizenship)
  • BS Electrical Engineering
  • Electromagnetics fundamentals
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Problem Solver
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Able to take direction from senior staff and follow through
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the field of antennas and radomes

Preferred Capabilities:

  • Prior hands-on experience with RF design and test
  • Basic programming experience  (e.g. Matlab)
  • Experience with commercial computational electromagnetics tools (e.g. HFSS)
