Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.
Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Software Engineering Department Manager to join our team in Chandler, AZ.
Role description & Responsibilities:
Software Engineering Manager for 20+ matrixed engineers supporting multiple Programs. Provide technical leadership and resource management to ensure timely resolution of issues affecting Software design and verification for launch vehicles and support equipment. Primary responsibilities include department staffing, management of department metrics, and maintenance of department processes, standards, and command media. Additional responsibilities include support of Business Development proposal activities, and ensuring ongoing development of direct reports.
- BS in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related
- Minimum of 12 years of related work experience
- Experience leading technical teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance is required
