Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.
This project employee opportunity is a temporary position with an assignment length of 4-6 months.
Under general supervision, plans, lays out, creates, completes, or revises detail and/or assembly drawings of various complexity based on red lined marked prints prepared by others. Works in accordance with standard engineering and drafting practices.
- Creates and modifies CAD models and drawings of various complexity based on red lined marked prints
- Modifies simple layouts and performs limited mathematical computations to simple tolerance stacks
Education and Experience
Generally requires HS & 2 years or equivalentcombination of education & experience.
U.S. Citizenship required
Active Secret Security Clearance required
Basic familiarity of product functionality. Some understanding of part manufacture and assembly techniques. Basic understanding of our specific CAD and/or PLM toolsets, design practices, procedures and standards.
