Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.

With minimum to moderate supervision, the electronic technician will be responsible for the acceptance testing of a variety of cable assemblies and related devices.  Responsibilities will include performing Continuity and Isolation testing, Contact Separation and Retention testing and Hi-pot testing.  Knowledge of and the ability to use a variety of test and measurement instrumentation such as multimeters, power supplies, function generators and oscilloscopes is required.  ATP / environmental testing and experience using ATE is preferred.

 

Qualifications:

  • A 2 year technical degree or graduation from a military technical school along with 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
  • Experience with ESS / environmental testing.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing , 5S and Costpoint MES is preferred.
  • Must be PC literate with proficiency in MS Office applications.
