Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems (NGIS) designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Job Summary

Perform detailed duties to aid in the maintenance of inventory accuracy which includes ensuring proper production reporting. Administer and monitor cycle count process to identify and reconcile anomalies/discrepancies. Ensure that physical counts match system data information. Completes analysis and solves problems. Provides guidance to more junior employees.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Prepares cycle count audit reports/packages. Researches and reports variances.
  2. Performs thorough investigation of quantity variances generated from cycle audits reconciling inventory to ensure quantity match between physical count and system data.
  3. Drives inventory accuracy through improved planning/coordination, disciplined material movement, improved inventory record accuracy and lean material flow.
  4. Performs weekly line of balance.
  5. Works continuously with production departments on accuracy of reporting production and process improvements.
  6. Supports external audit agencies as required.

Education and Experience

Generally requires BS & 2 years or equivalent combination of education & experience.

Other Requirements

Knowledge of common inventory control processes. Ability to lift safely items in accordance with Site Policies.
