Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.
Seeking a creative and energetic Engineer to design, develop, and execute test procedures and automated test scripts. The ideal candidate has good software skills and system level test experience working with a complex computer system. Daily responsibilities will require test preparation leading to direct contact with the system to be delivered. Candidate must be able to tackle issues utilizing skills obtained in the field of Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, preferably as it relates to system level integration and test. Required skills include the ability to communicate clearly, and to use critical thinking in troubleshoot of problems. The ability to use a scripting language and formulate automated test scripts is highly desirable.
Works under general supervision to contribute to the success of detailed technical tasks pertaining to the integration and test of new ground system features and functions in a Linux environment. Work with the development team to create and execute test plans and procedures. Put new functionality into the field. Works as a member of the project team, but may have some task lead responsibilities.
A Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Software Engineering or related discipline with 2 or more years of related experience.
**Must possess a Top Secret level clearance with a valid background investigation**
Proficiency using Linux desired, Integration & Test experience desired, & RF experience desired
